General Information About the 2012 Amica Marathon.
The Amica Marathon will be held on October 14, 2012 at 8:00 A.M. in Newport and Middletown, Rhode Island. The Amica Marathon consists of the full marathon and the United Healthcare Half Marathon.
The Amica 5k will be held on Saturday, October 13. The Amica 5k is part of the Amica Marathon race weekend and is a great even for families and friends to participate in to warmup for the races on Sunday. [More Info]

The Amica Marathon wants to ensure that all runners have a stress free race. Here are some tips to help ensure you are ready for the start:
• Pre-register – Not only will pre-registering lower your stress level on race day, but it will save you money! Registering early could save you up to $45 for the full and $30 for the half marathon
• Expo packet pick up – Picking up your packet at the Health & Wellness expo will ensure that you receive a goodie bag and race shirt.
• Familiarize yourself – An information booth and representative will be available at the Health & Wellness expo to answer any questions you may have.
• Arrive early – Since there is no parking at the race start, we are providing complimentary parking and shuttles to the start. Please allow PLENTY of time to get to the parking lot, board the shuttle, travel to the start and stop off at bag check. Click HERE for more parking and shuttle information.

Because of the number of runners expected on Sunday October 14, 2012, we strongly advise all participants to plan ahead and pickup their race packets on Friday or Saturday at the Health and Wellness Expo.
